Looking to do something fun with the family this Fourth of July? How about venturing into the City for the annual Boston Harborfest?
Boston Harborfest is a five-day long Fourth of July Festival that showcases the colonial and maritime heritage of the City of Boston. The festival offers a full spectrum of events over the week including reenactments, concerts, harbor cruises, story times, parades, historical tours and much more. More than 20 daily events during the festival are concentrated in Boston’s historic downtown and waterfront districts, with sponsored main events on Boston’s City Hall Plaza. Visitors to the Annual Chowderfest will vote for “Boston’s Best Chowder” after sampling traditional New England-style clam chowder from some of the Boston area’s top restaurants. This event is not related the annual fireworks event on The Esplanade. If you are looking to immerse your family into the rich history of Boston, check out Harborfest.
